Luxuriously soft Merino wool has all the positive characteristics of wool: wicking ability, quick absorption and evaporation but without the itch. CoolMax is added for superior wicking action. - 60% Merino wool, 18% stretch nylon, 20% CoolMax , 2% spandex. Wt. 3.4oz. Sock Height: 11 in. Feature/Fiber Benefits/Qualities 60 percent Merino Wool Natural fiber with intimate blend of 90 percent wool and 10 per cent nylon for extra softness, improved comfort, durability, less piling, added strength and performance. First grade of wool offered by Wigwam with smooth, uniform twisted yarn for smooth feel and better wear. Machine washable for easy care and less shrinkage. Long, fine yarn provides itchless properties. Absorbs up to 30 percent of its own body weight in moisture keeping feet dry. A true insulator, Merino Wool absorbs and evaporates moisture to have a dry layer next to the skin that ensures optimum temperature control. Offers natural cushioning by its natural 'crimp' that allows each fiber to rebound instantly to its natural position. 20 percent CoolMax Strategically placed for improved wicking of moisture away from the foot to keep feet drier, and more comfortable.
